MOTORHOME PREPARATION

Even if you're new to motorhomes you should have already tried yours out a few times and be conversant with its general use, but there are some preparations you will need to do now. Firstly make sure everything is in full working order before you leave home. Check that you have full gas tanks. That you have at least a basic tool kit with you, a roll of duct tape (for emergency repairs) and a litre of the correct grade of engine oil. That your tyres, including the spare, are inflated to the correct pressure and that you have headlamp deflectors fitted. If you have authorised Irish registration plates these are recognised within Europe, so there's no need for a separate IRL sticker. You should also include a two pin continental electrical connection adapter made specifically for outside use. Many European campsites use this system as standard and the adapters are widely available in camping accessory shops in Ireland. Motorhome Packing & Checklist
