THE ADVENTUROUS

FOR THE SLIGHTLY MORE FOR THE SLIGHTLY MORE ADVENTUROUS THIS IS WHAT TO AIM FOR: The story gets even better once you get a ferry into France. In fact there are several different ferry services with differing levels of services and costs. These include direct crossings by Brittany Ferries, Irish Ferries and Celtic Link, and 'landbridge' services by both Stena and Norfolk Lines. Other services operate in an easterly direction from the U.K. to give access to Denmark and the Scandinavian countries as well as U.K. departures direct to Spain.. If this isn't sufficient to satisfy your wanderlust, there are further connections from France and Spain giving access into North Africa where Morocco is a great winter favourite. Perhaps the most used site is located in Agadir where a huge campsite is located in the centre of the city although there are several beach side locations as well. There are also growing opportunities to tour in Eastern Europe and there's even a special ferry service from Italy down into Greece which has a 'camper deck' where you live in your own van which can be connected to the ship's 230 volt supply. At least one Irish camper has spent time in Crete, and there's nearly as many exotic stories to be told as there are camper vans in Ireland.
